Khao Hin Sorn Royal Development Study Center
History
It is located in Khao Hin Sorn Subdistrict, Phanom Sarakham District, Chachoengsao Province on 1,895 rai. It is the first of 6 royal study centers nationwide initiated by the King (Rama 9). It has been awarded excellence for agricultural tourist attraction from Thailand Tourism Awards 2004 and has won the silver and golden Kinnaree for agricultural tourist attraction for the year 2002 and 2004. This is an example of agricultural success and professional development as a prototype and guideline for farmers and interested parties to practically apply to the area. The rehabilitation of natural resources; soil, water, and forest at the Khao Hin Sorn Royal Development Study Center and surrounding villages include plans for plants growing and working in order to develop careers and areas for people to make a living by increasing their productivity leading to better quality of life. It also promotes crafts, career traditional crafts as an extra source of income.
