Wat Jin Pracha Samosorn (Leng Hok Yi)

Wat Jin Pracha Samosorn or Leng Hok Yi is an old Chinese temple in Chachoengsao Province. It is a Mahayana Buddhist monastery extended from Wat Leng Noei Yi in Bangkok, built during the reign of King Rama 5 in 1906. The value of traditional Chinese art inside the temple has shown many interesting particulars like 4 large Thao Jatulokaban images made of paper at the entrance. There are 3 presiding Buddha images and the 18 Arhat images made of paper from China.

This temple is believed to be the belly of the dragon. People often come to pay homage and bless for prosperity especially, during Chinese New Year and New Year as well as to mend their year of misfortune. Each year a lot of people come to pay homage and to mend their misfortune and the temple has provided staffs to facilitate and guide for the blessing.
