The 100-Year Khlong Suan Market is located along the Pravet Burirom canal encompassing 2 provinces; Theppharat Subdistrict, Ban Pho District, Chachoengsao Province and Khlong Suan Subdistrict, Bang Bo District, Samutprakarn Province. Khlong Suan Market is an old market since the reign of King Rama 5. In the past, traveling by boat was the fastest and easiest means of transportation. From Chachoengsao to Bangkok, only one Nai Lert white commuter boat was in service. It took people from Pratunam Tha Thua (Chachoengsao), passed Khlong Suan Market and reached Pratunam (Sa Pathum Palace), Bangkok. In the past, Khlong Suan Market was a stopover and a community center for goods exchange as well as the most important and convenient transportation. Any volunteered works such as canal digging and road construction, people would join forces to develop the infrastructure. Meeting point was coffee shops where anyone even with different religions could attend the meeting to exchange their ideas, life experiences, social events and public information. Coffee shops were so addictive to many people in the community that they could not help to come and meet with each other every morning. Even today, coffee shops are still the meeting points for community. Khlong Suan Market was established in 1901 by the name of Three Brothers Market. It was a single-story wooden market with \u201cLaochaon\u201d pole. Later in 1934, it was renovated to a two-story wooden building situated on the waterfront. And the corner of the market is provincial boundary with main canals; Pravet Burirom and Phayanakaraj where many boats are commuting, hence the name “Khlong Suan Market” today. It is the center for trade and goods exchange. It is also a human hub where people; Buddhist, Chinese, and Muslim live peacefully together. Today, this market is a popular tourist attraction. Thus, people gather to form a community and establish a market oversight by the He had a glorious biography and composed many works, such as Mulbodbunpakit Wahanitnikorn,diphthongs, consonants arrangement, Synonyms, and The Use of Ka-Run,which are all the original Thai textbooks that have been used in learning and teaching from the past until now. Another important work he completed was as editor of Ramayana descriptions in the area of the hall\u2019s balcony of Wat Pra Kaew when Rattanakosin Kingdon celebrated its 100 years anniversary. It is held at Praya Si Sunthon Woharn Monument in the Muang Chachoengsao district, and there are many events such as religious ceremonies, the worship ceremony of Praya Si Sunthon Woharn (Noi Arjanrayangkul) where people offer fresh flower bouquets, Thai instrument performances, Thai dance performances, and song recitals of his compositions\r\nPraya Si Sunthon Woharn, or Noi Arjanrayangkul, was born in Chachoengsao on the 5thof July 1822. He was praised as a venerable person of Chachoengsao and a philosopher of Thai. He had a glorious biography and composed many works, such as Mulbodbunpakit Wahanitnikorn,diphthongs, consonants arrangement, Synonyms, and The Use of Ka-Run,which are all the original Thai textbooks that have been used in learning and teaching from the past until now. These include books praising the Buddha, the Dhamma and the Sangha, parents, and teachers, which many schools still use nowadays. Another important work he completed was as editor of Ramayana descriptions in the area of the hall\u2019s balcony of Wat Pra Kaew when Rattanakosin Kingdon celebrated its 100 years anniversary. His work impressed the three kings, Rama III, Rama IV, and Rama V, thus, making him a venerable person who deserved to be praised, even though he had passed away long before. When Thailand adopted political policy to lead military and changed its political system from Jatusadom to provincial municipality, Chachoengsao was the government office for Prachin Region. And Krom Muen Marupong Siripat, knowledgeable in administration who headed the provincial municipality was appointed the governor at that time. Construction planning in Prachin Region was in fact the beginning of Chachoengsao city planning. The palace of Krom Muen Marupong Siripat, a two-story wooden house was considered the very first building used as \u201cpublic official residence\u201d of Padrew. Another historical significance, a great pride for the people of the city residents was this palace accommodated King Rama 5 when he twice made royal visits to Chachoengsao. His picture was bestowed when he first visited the place along with his hand writing read \"Given to Prachin Region (town of Chachoengsao) on a visit to this place with pleasure between 24th and 29th of January 1907, Ror Sor 40 126\". And Krom Muen Marupong Siripat, knowledgeable in administration who headed the provincial municipality was appointed the governor at that time. Construction planning in Prachin Region was in fact the beginning of Chachoengsao city planning. The palace of Krom Muen Marupong Siripat, a two-story wooden house was considered the very first building used as \u201cpublic official residence\u201d of Padrew. Another historical significance, a great pride for the people of the city residents was this palace accommodated King Rama 5 when he twice made royal visits to Chachoengsao. His picture was bestowed when he first visited the place along with his hand writing read \"Given to Prachin Region (town of Chachoengsao) on a visit to this place with pleasure between 24th and 29th of January 1907, Ror Sor 40 126\".
